We thank you, Christ our God, for you have satisfied us with earthly gifts. Do not deprive us of your heavenly kingdom, but as you, O Savior, came among your disciples and gave them peace, come among us also and save us. (Prayer after a meal)
Challenge:
Today, make sure to pray before every meal. Offer up a prayer of thanksgiving that you are fortunate enough to have a meal. Remember to pray for whoever prepared your food. Also, make sure to pray for all those around the world who are without nourishment.
